Evan Marcantonio

Owner & COACH

At ELEVATE Strength & Performance, we believe life is better when you are resilient. When a person can’t do activities they enjoy because their mind and body don’t allow it, they’re missing out on their greatest potential. When a person has strength, endurance, confidence and courage to do hard things, they will create more meaningful life experiences. Someone who can be active with their family, enjoy their favorite physical activities, and be supportive in their community will have an overwhelming sense of gratification. ELEVATE was created to help people move better and build useful strength with principle-based training so that they could do anything they want at a moment’s notice. Evan Marcantonio is the owner and head coach of ELEVATE Strength & Performance in Worcester, MA. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Sport Management program, Evan has achieved every StrongFirst instructor certification including Level I & II kettlebells (SFG I & II), barbell (SFL), and body weight (SFB). Evan is a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) through Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning, holds a Complete Coach Certification through Robertson Training Systems, is Level 2 certified with Functional Movement Systems (FMS), and is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach.

Emily Hannen coach at ELEVATE Strength & Performance

Emily Hannen

Ambassador

“I have been a member of ELEVATE since 2017 and fell in love with kettlebells, barbells, and weights of all kinds. I have found that strength training does wonders for the body, mind, and spirit! Useful strength improves everyday simple tasks as well as my own hobbies and endeavors of hiking, biking, and the occasional road race. My turning point would be a failure of at-home workouts and a back injury I sustained as a nurse. I felt myself scrambling to find quick fixes, which lead to unhealthy habits and unsustainable changes. I was overcome with self-doubt and joining ELEVATE opened my eyes to prioritize myself and strive to improve every day. My passion and motivation are helping people see their full potential and continuously impress themselves. Be your own cheerleader and have a blast along the way of creating your best self!” Emily is Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit at UMass Memorial Medical Center and is FMS Level 1 Certified.
